• No actual prerequisites, however to be successful at recruiting you will need to do a couple of things. First you will need to really understand what truck drivers do and what they are looking for, their issues and concerns and how they live. The best way to do that of course is by being a truck driver yourself for at least long enough to gain a true understanding of what it entails. Next you need to actually love trucking, and at least LIKE Recruiting! If you do you are much more likely to do much better than someone just trying to force themselves to do it for the money alone. The money is good! But that alone is not the best reason for getting into recruiting. If you see your role as actually helping other drivers, and helping your company while you are also rewarded well by earning good money doing it - then you are far more likely to be much better than someone not doing it for these reasons.
