What Will I Learn?

• Understand the culture of Tree of Life Family with regards to our small groups
• Define what is an elder in the Tree of Life Family
• Understand the role of the elder in our Living Churches
• Understand the character, capabilities and compatibilities necessary to be an elder in the Tree of Life
• Understand the different aspects to being an elder and the responsibilities you will have

Requirements

• This course is aimed at Christians who are born again, Spirit-filled and a committed and integral part of their local church who are interested in the excellent task known as eldership.
• It is primarily aimed at people in the Tree of Life Church Family who are looking to become elders and open their houses to Living Churches (discipleship groups)

Target audience

• This course is mandatory for all potential elders in the Tree of Life Family. People outside the family may also benefit from the Biblical and practical teaching on leading small groups and functioning as an elder.
• People who are interested in the leadership process of Tree of Life and the role and importance of small groups are also welcome
