What Will I Learn?

• Students will learn how to write a screenplay step by step by knowing every single detail of a cinematic story and analyzing professionals examples on screen.
• Students will learn the general rules of writing, as well as the fundamentals of the story, a theory supported by Robert Mckee.
• Students will know step by step the classic structure of the screenplay and its relationship with the dramatic arc of the character.
• Students will learn step by step and with examples on the screen how to create each of the three acts of the classic structure of the screenplay.
• Students will know the origin of the current structure of film scripts. The history of the film script.
• Students will know how a character develops during his journey in a story, as well as the mirror characters.
• Students will learn to create a synopsis from the smallest idea, learning the concepts: Tagline, Logline & Storytline.
• Students will learn the professional narrative strategies behind a film writer: Anticipatory signs, Ellipsis and dramatic irony.
• Students know the main types of plots used in the creation of a screenplay,
