What Will I Learn?

• At the end of my course, students will be able to create seamlessly looping gifs and videos, that are short and interesting. You’ll have learned the basics of After Effects; how to export animated gifs and videos to share on Instagram, Dribbble, and other social networks. You’ll have learned principles and theory that can be applied to your style and method of working.
• You’ll learn the basics of After Effects. You’ll learn the theory behind making mesmerizing loops and given examples of how to do so in After Effects. You’ll learn how to export videos and gifs in Photoshop.

Requirements

• You’ll need Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and there is one video that requires Adobe Illustrator.

Target audience

• Take the course if you love mesmerizing animation! Take the course if you’re an After Effects beginner. Take the course if you want to learn the principles of mesmerization. Don’t take the course if you don’t like motion or animated gifs. Don’t take the course if you want to create memes. This course is suitable for someone who hasn’t used After Effects before, but there are principles and theory in it that would help veterans and animators who choose not to use After Effects.
