What Will I Learn?

• An introduction to programming in Python.
• An introduction to SQL and how to manage Databases using MySQL
• An introduction to Web Pages, using HTML and CSS
• How to create your own small Web Server
• How to connect your web page to a database using PHP
• An introduction to programming in Java, creating an App for a Mobile Phone using Android Studio
• An introduction to Computer science, looking at how computers, hard disk, networks, servers, firewalls etc. work
• Plus information on jobs, applications and project management
• ...And the best bit is, all of the software you need is free, you just need a PC with an Internet link

Requirements

• You will need a PC. The course is designed to run on Windows from version 7 onwards. The PC will have enough space to store all on the programs you will load up, about 10 Gb.
• You will need access Internet access.
• You need to be able to use a PC, such as how to open programs and use the internet.

• Beginners in IT who want to know about programming, databases, mobile apps, web pages and computer science
