What Will I Learn?

• In this course students will learn about the emerging discipline of cyber security law and the distinctive challenges that are currently facing the further development and evolution of cyber security law. Cyber security law is a sub discipline within the broader cyber law umbrella however its growth and evolution is dependent on how it is going to deal with the specific challenges that are currently being posed by increasing cyber security breaches. This course will enable the students to have an overview of what major issues and challenges are facing cyber security law and how the need to be appropriate tackled in the coming times. With cyber security breaches increasingly becoming the new normal, it is imperative that the issues and challenges pertaining to cyber security breaches need to be efficaciously and holistically addressed by cyber security law.

Requirements

• There are no course requirements or prerequisites. Any person or student who wishes to learn more about cyber security law and its emerging challenges and developments could enroll for the said course.

Target audience

• The target students are any persons who are interested in cyber security law and connect legalities that cyber security breaches are bringing forth as also the various newly emerging challenges to cyber security law as a discipline. These could be law students, legal professionals, lawyers, advocates as also any other professional working in the cyber security ecosystem or in the digital or mobile ecosystem but who is interested in the legalities concerning cyber security and the distinctive challenges that are being posed by increasing cyber security breaches across the world.
