What Will I Learn?

• 1. Examine the roles and relationships between retailers, buyers, manufacturers, suppliers and customers
• 2 Interpret the key characteristics, processes and terms involved in fashion buying and merchandising
• 3 Examine the role and impact of customer profiling and the focus on customer profiling to maximise retail sales
• 4 Understand the fashion life cycle and the buying cycle and the Product Life cycle
• 5 Develop skills in identifying trends and trend forecasting
• 7 Develop seasonal calendars, range plans, and financial range plans
• 8 Create boards which illustrate product ranges and creative inspiration and/or factors which are influencing the cycle of fashion
• 9. Understand visual merchandsing and create a Retail Planogram

• No fashion Buying expereince needed. You will learn all the basics on the course to get you started in the excting world of fashion buying and merchandising
