What Will I Learn?

• Improve the quality of audio vocal recordings used in videos, online courses, YouTube videos, podcasts, narration and voiceover projects, and more, resulting in professional sounding results by using advanced editing features and effects in Audacity free audio recording and editing software, including noise removal, compression, equalization, and normalization, and integrate that edited audio back into the original projects.

Requirements

• The ideal student is one who currently creates video or audio recordings related to online courses, YouTube, or podcasts, and wants to use software to edit the audio portion for professional sounding results. Students should have a basic understanding of digital audio and video, recording and playback, and should have a basic understanding of computers and software in general. Experience with audio software is preferable, and taking our FREE course “Audacity Professional Vocals for Courses Video & More Part 1” may be very helpful, but not required.

Target audience

• Students should take this course if they want to get to the next level of Audacity audio recording and editing software in relation to videos, online courses, YouTube videos, podcasts, narration and voiceover projects, and more, as the next step in getting the best quality vocal audio recordings possible for many different types of projects, by working with effects and other editing techniques.
• Students should not take this course if they do not currently, or do not plan on learning to, record and edit their own audio vocal files for audio and video projects, or have no computer experience.
