Requirements

• Students should have taken some form of training or have fairly recent and comprehensive experience with Information Technology systems and their inner workings. This exam is not for the faint of heart. This test is meant to help you determine whether you have the basics covered with each of the individual topics before applying them to the actual exam.

Target audience

• This set of practice exams is meant to test for your knowledge about various IT security concepts related to the CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 objectives. It is not meant to test your reading ability or ability to apply those concepts in complex environments, but rather to ensure that you are able to define what each of these components are. If you can define the components, you should be able to apply logic and reasoning for how they may be able to be used in both the real world as well as the exam.
