What Will I Learn?

• After taking this course students will have the skills to build and design a custom stylized vehicle of thier choice
• Student will learn how to create, name and add tools to a custom shelf in Maya
• Student will learn how to extract a curve from the edge of objects
• Students will be able to properly convert a nurb surface to the polygon object
• Students will learn how to use and adjust the twist deformer
• Student will learn to adjust the place of the pivot point
• Student will explore the use of the Lattice deformer
• Student will use a CV curves to build various profile shapes
• Student will learn how to use the quad draw method in the modeling tool kit to build surface geometry
• Student will learn how to use the "make live function" to add geometry to an existing surface

Requirements

• Students must have Autodesk Maya 2018 student software
• Students must have a basic knowledge of Autodesk Maya 2018 Interface
• Students must have a basic knowledge of Autodesk Maya 2018 navigation

Target audience

• This course is NOT for a complete beginner. This is not an introductory course for Autodesk Maya 2018.
• This course is for novice to intermediate user experience with Autodesk Maya 2018.
• This course is for students that want to explore beyond Autodesk Maya 2018's traditional modeling tools
