• How to set life and financial goals, motivating the student to engage their own financial situation
• Manage their money, including how to pay for goods/service, how to balance a checkbook, and types of financial accounts
• Recognize the value of money and the role of currency, and difference between the two
• Budget their income so their spending and saving choices reflect what they value
• Make their budget healthier by increasing income or reducing expenses (or both!)
• Make informed and confident college and career decisions
• Learn the most effective ways to save and invest, and the principles of each
• Recognize the role of financial forces such as credit, taxes, and insurance.
• See how God designed our time and money to bring us a satisfaction beyond anything we can imagine

Requirements

• You should have basic math understanding, including percentages.

Target audience

• High school students who desire to learn personal finance from an eternal perspective
• High school students who need to fulfill a personal finance elective that meets the National Standards for Financial Literacy
