What Will I Learn?

• Install and configure Oracle active dataguard
• Configure Listener for the comunication between Primary and Standby databases
• Use Rman duplicate technology
• Use Oracle Broker tool to perform switchovers

Requirements

• Students needs to set 2 virtual machines with all the Oracle requisits to install rdbms 11g
• In first virtual machine, you need to have a database installed and running yet
• In the other virtual machine, you need to have the binary installed only
