What Will I Learn?

• Students taking this course will come away equipped with the skills and knowledge to begin a career in newborn baby photography

Requirements

• We use a DSLR camera but you can start this course using just your cell phone as the bulk of the course covers posing the baby and camera angles to get the best image you can.
• In the future, editing software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, which includes Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom and of course a PC or MAC to download them to, so that you can edit your images to a professional standard.
• Students will need to be prepared to invest in the future, if they would like to continue as a newborn photographer, with the props and accessories needed to create newborn images.

Target audience

• Our course will appeal to anyone looking to venture into the world of newborn photography. No experience is necessary to be able to take this course as it is designed specifically for beginners. We will also appeal to already established photographers who want to add this genre of photography to their photography business.
• Photography students studying at A Level or Degree level will also find this course beneficial if they feel this is an area they would like to explore when qualified, as it is often not a covered topic in colleges or Universities despite being a highly sought after genre.
